I close my eyes and leave this place,
To see the sunlight on your face,
And before I say the words I’ve planned,
You smile to show you understand.

I see infinite galaxies in your eyes,
My inspiration for a perfect sky,
The thoughts you whisper in my ear
Build ocean waves too soft to hear.

I tingle as you stroke my cheek,
My pounding heart can feel you speak,
In a paradise made for just us two
A world I created to share with you.

Standing together in the oceans spray
I wonder if you hear the words I say,
As my heartbeat fades beside the sun,
Awake to find my dreams are broken.
