I take a breath to stop the earth
And stand alone in space,
To feel the lust for all its worth
In this everlasting place.

Passion sends a wave of heat
To fill my soul with fire,
And pause one timeless heartbeat
Still burning with desire.

In this silence where I stand
I look down and I find,
An eternal moment in my hand

An hourglass of endless sand
