Star

Scattered stars with diamond light
Strewn across the blackest night.
Like crystal drops of morning dew
The rarest, everlasting few,
Gleaming on a sunny day.

Such a sight is barely seen
Very few and far between.

Then I saw one magic day
A sight which took my breath away.
The brightest star I ever saw
More beautiful than all before,
The star that I call you.
